Boing.

Here I will list things I like, things I loathe, and a few things in between. A very 'thingy' column. If you like things, well I've got a few of them.

Pas/cal's forthcoming album.

I think I love you Link: www.pascalgoespop.com - 4 demo songs are at the bottom of the page.

Okay, I admit it. I first heard these guys on a car commercial. Whatever, the song was charming. After a bit of research, I found out who they were, and pretty much murdered the 2 songs they had posted on their site at the time (by overplaying them).

Well, now on the blog part of the site, they're leaving notes about the production of a full length release, and they have posted 2 other songs. "The bronzed beach boys (come on let's go)" is still the most instantly recognizable 'hit,' but "honey we're ridiculous" is still very capable of being overplayed. In a good way.

Verdict: We will see. I'm hopeful.

P.s.- listen to the drums at the end of "What happened to the sands."

We are Scientists video; "Nobody move..."

W.A.S. animated gif. Link: Scroll down to 'video.'

So this is more of a blog entry than a review, but anyhow... This video was directed by Akiva from www.thelonelyisland.com (who now is a writer for SNL.) It's got a great pace, and really feels like it's running.

We are seeing these guys live in a few hours @ the Social. I hope it's good, so I don't have to write bad stuff about them on here (and get my heart broken.)

*edit* - Okay, they sound great live, and all of their other songs (which will be released on their full length soon) seem to be just as fun and memorable as the songs on their E.P.

Verdict: I Love it.
